Almost too rapidly, the third term drew to a close followed by a week of holiday and then it is back to the last term of the school year.
On the weekend before the term break, my aunt had her short weekend getaway with me. It was fun going on morning hikes, visiting some nice spots and having good food. We discovered 2 lovely waterfalls.
When I am back in Singapore, I enjoy more intimate meetups in two or three. Takes more time to arrange them but I find that the conversations are so much better. It was also timely that I was back in the week remembering Mr Lee.
Back to school and a rather hectic short first week. The school hosted some visitors from the Asian-African Students Conference, AASC. 60 years ago, Bandung hosted the first ever Asian-African Conference. The first AASC was held the next year in 1956, and this year will be the 2nd AASC. So proud of my students that they could be involved because most of the other students are undergraduates.
